 Egg Roast

Ingredients:

Egg - 4

Oil - 1 or 2 tbsp

Mustard - 1/2 tsp

Curry leaves - few

Onion - 2

Ginger - 1 tbsp (1 inch piece)

Tomato - 1

Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Chilly powder - 1 tsp

Salt - as required




Recipe:

  1. Boil water in a vessel.
  2. Once it reaches the boiling temperature, add a tsp of salt and place the eggs carefully.
  3. Let it boil for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the eggs and add plain water.
  5. Leave it for 5 minutes.
  6. Now remove the shell, place the eggs on a plate and keep it aside.
  7. Now in a pan, add little oil.
  8. Add mustard seeds. Let it splutter.
  9. Add few curry leaves and thinly sliced onions
  10. Saute this until translucent.
  11. Add little salt while cooking onions to fasten the process.
  12. Add finely chopped ginger and mix well.
  13. Add in finely chopped tomato and saute until mushy.
  14. Now add turmeric and chilly powder and mix for around 1 minute.
  15. Add little water required salt and simmer for around 5 minutes.
  16. Make a slight cut on the boiled eggs and place those on the masala and give a mix.
  17. Easy, tasty egg roast is ready !
