Ingredients:

Ghee - 1/4 cup

Chopped nuts - 1/4 cup

Besan flour - 1 cup

Sugar - 1/3 to 1/2 cup

Cardamom - 2



Recipe :

  1. In a pan, add ghee and roast the nuts until brown.
  2. Remove and keep it aside.
  3. In the same pan, add gram flour and roast at medium flame until it gives a nice aroma.
  4. Usually it takes around 25-30 minutes. Take care not to burn.
  5. At this stage, ghee starts oozing out and it gives a good nutty aroma.
  6. Remove from stove and let it cool down completely.
  7. Meanwhile powder sugar and cardamom in a mixie jar and keep it ready.
  8. Once the flour cools down, add powdered sugar and mix well using hands.
  9. It all comes together. Take a small portion and shape into round balls.
  10. Delicious besan ladoo is ready!
