Adai Dosai
In this post, let’s see how to make traditional tamilnadu style breakfast recipe, adai dosai. This is an easy, instant dosa recipe. This adai dosa goes well with coconut chutney or aviyal. Friends, do give a try to this tasty recipe and share your valuable feedback.
Ingredients:
Idly rice - 1 cup
Chana dhal - 1/2 cup
Urad dhal - 2 tbsp
Red chilly - 3 (as per your spicy level)
Chopped Shallot - 1/2 to 3/4 cup
Curry leaves - few
Hing - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as required
Recipe:
- Wash and soak idly rice, chana dhal, urad dhal in water for 2-3 hours.
- Drain water and add to a mixie jar.
- Add red chilly and grind well by adding little water.
- Transfer to a bowl.
- Add chopped shallot, curry leaves, hing and required salt.
- Mix well.
- Grease dosa tawa and pour 1 or 2 ladle full of batter.
- Swirl and make dosa.
- Drizzle generous amount of oil.
- Turn sides and cook until it is crisp, golden brown.
- Hot adai dosa is ready! This goes well with coconut chutney or aviyal.
Notes:
1. While grinding, it is not required to grind as fine like normal dosa.
2.Fermentation is not required for adai dosa.
