Churros

Ingredients:
Water - 1 cup
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Butter - 1/4 cup (60gm)
All purpose flour/ Maida - 1 cup
Egg - 1
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
Oil - for deep frying
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp
Recipe:
- In a pan, add water, salt, sugar and butter. Let it boil until the butter melts.
- Now add all purpose flour and mix well without any lumps.
- Mix until you get a smooth dough.
- Remove from stove and let it cool down.
- Add egg at this time and mix well.
- At first, the dough separates. But keep mixing, it turns to a smooth dough.
- Use a star nozzle. Fill a piping bag with the dough.
- Now carefully pipe in hot oil. Use scissors and cut into small strips.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Remove and drain in a tissue paper.
- In a bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon powder. Now roll the drained churros in sugar cinnamon mixture while it’s hot.
- Hot tasty churros are ready! Dip in chocolate syrup and enjoy .
