Broccoli stir fry

Ingredients:
Broccoli - 500 gm
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Urad dhal - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly - 1
Curry leaves - few
Onion - 1
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Recipe:
- Boil water in a vessel.
- Add little salt, broccoli florets and blanche well for around 1 minute.
- Remove the broccoli florets from water and keep this aside.
- In a pan, add little oil.
- Add mustard. Let it splutter.
- Add urad dhal, cumin seeds, red chilly and few curry leaves.
- Add finely chopped onion and saute this until translucent. Add little salt while cooking onion to fasten the process.
- Now add the blanched broccoli florets.
- Add turmeric powder, chilly powder and mix well for around 1 minute.
- Check salt and add if required.
- Finally add grated coconut and give a mix.
- Tasty and healthy broccoli stir fry is ready !
