In this post, let’s see how to make crispy and tasty Indian savoury recipe i.e. Namak para. Friends, do give a try to this easy recipe and share  your feedback.


Ingredients:

Maida/ All purpose flour - 1 cup

Semolina/Sooji - 1 tbsp

Ajwain - 1/2 tsp

Salt - to taste

Ghee - 3 to 4 tbsp

Warm water - as required

Oil - for deep frying


Recipe:

  1. In a bowl, add flour, semolina, ajwain, salt and ghee.
  2. Mix everything well.
  3. Check the texture of the flour by holding in your hand, should be able to get proper shape.
  4. Add warm water little by little and knead it to a soft dough.
  5. Cover and let it rest for around 20 minutes.
  6. After 20 minutes, flatten it using a rolling pin.
  7. Now using a knife cut into desired shape.
  8. Now fry these on hot oil at medium flame.
  9. Stir at intervals to ensure even frying.
  10. Fry until the colour changes to light brown and the sizzling sound of oil stops.
  11. Crispy and tasty namak para is ready!
