 Healthy chana salad



In this post, let’s see how to make a healthy salad bowl packed with protein and many vitamins. This salad can also be had by those who are on diet and it also very filling. This also serve as a healthy snack  for kids. Friends, do give a try to this healthy salad bowl and share your feedback.


Ingredients:

Boiled chana dhal - 1 cup

Chopped tomato - 1/2 cup

Chopped cucumber - 1/2 cup

Grated carrot - 1/2 cup

Chopped capsicum - 1/2 cup

Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp

Salt - to taste

Chaat masala - 1 tsp

Lemon juice - 1 tsp


Recipe:

  1. Soak chana dhal for 4-5 hours.
  2. Boil it in a pressure cooker until soft.
  3. Add boiled chana to a bowl.
  4. Add grated carrot, chopped tomato, cucumber, capsicum, coriander leaves.
  5. Add salt to taste.
  6. Add chaat masala and juice of half small sized lemon.
  7. Mix well and serve.

Notes:

  1. If you like the taste of onions, you can finely chop and add it to your salad.
  2. If you want the salad to be spicy, you can also add chopped green chillies.
