In this post, we will see how to make Gurudwara style temple prasad atta halwa. This halwa tastes delicious with the ghee melting in our mouth. This is very simple and easy recipe. Please do try this recipe at your home and share your feedback.


Ingredients:

Sugar - 1 cup

Water - 2 cups

Ghee - 1 cup

Wheat flour/ Atta - 1 cup





Recipe:

  1. Add sugar and water in a bowl.
  2. Boil until the sugar melts and keep it aside.
  3. In a separate pan, add ghee.
  4. Add wheat flour to it and mix well without any lumps.
  5. Cook on medium flame, stirring continuously.
  6. After 10 minutes, you can see a frothy layer on the top.(stage1)
  7. Stir continuously until the colour changes to dark brown and the flour looks grainy.It look about totally 20 minutes to reach this stage.(stage 2)
  8. The ghee starts leaving the sides of the pan. At this stage, switch off the stove and remove.
  9. Tasty, simple Gurudwara style atta halwa is ready!
