 Ribbon pakoda

Ingredients:

Rice flour - 1 cup

Gram flour - 1/2 cup

Chilly powder - 1 tsp

Hing - a generous pinch

Salt - as required 

Butter - 1 tsp

Oil - for deep frying 


Recipe :

  1. In a bowl, add rice flour, gram flour, chilly powder, hing, salt, butter and mix well.
  2. Add water little by little and knead it to soft dough.
  3. Now grease the pressing stand with oil.
  4. Roll the dough into cylindrical shape and fill inside the stand.
  5. Now press the dough using the stand directly into hot oil .
  6. When one side is fried well, turn it over to the other.
  7. When the oozing sound of oil stops, take it out and drain in a tissue paper.
  8. Crispy  and easy  ribbon pakoda / seeval is ready !
