Cheese cake brownies
Cheese cake brownies are a combination of cheese cake and delicious brownies which goes very well with each other. It’s very easy to make , doesn’t require any fancy tools . It’s just made with a very few ingredients in hand . As the brownies we make are dense in texture , it doesn’t even require any raising agents like baking powder or baking soda. Ingredients :
To prepare cheese cake :Cream cheese - 350 gm
Powdered sugar - 1/3 cup
Egg - 1
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
To prepare brownies :
Butter - 1/2 cup( 100gm)
Dark chocolate - 1/2 cup (100 gm)
Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Eggs - 2
All purpose flour/ Maida - 1/2 cup
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Recipe :
- In a bowl , add cream cheese , powdered sugar, egg, vanilla essence and beat well with a hand whisk until creamy . Keep it aside.
- Boil water in a vessel .
- Place a heat proof bowl over that vessel.
- Add butter, chocolate and heat until it melts.
- Once it’s melted , remove from stove and let it cool down.
- Add powdered sugar , eggs, vanilla essence to it and beat well.
- Add all purpose flour, salt and mix well.
- Brownie mix is ready now.
- Take a square baking pan. Line it with parchment paper or butter and dust it with flour.
- Pour in the brownie mix. Level it with a spoon. Reserve 2 tbsp for later use.
- Now add in the cheese cake mix.
- Finally add in the remaining brownie mix.
- Swirl a fork across the batter to make patterns.
- Preheat the oven and bake it at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes .
- Check after 25 minutes.
- Once the cake is baked , check if it’s done by inserting a toothpick or a knife. If you insert in brownie part, it will come out clean. If you insert in cheese cake, it will be little sticky as it is hot.
- Let it cool down .
- After then refrigerate for 1 hour before cutting .
- Now cut the side edges. Cut into square shape pieces and enjoy !
