Avocado salad :
Ingredients:
Salad cucumber - 1/2
Red bell pepper / capsicum - 1
Avocado - 1
Sweet corn - 1 cup
Lemon - 1/2
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - as required
Pepper - as required
Recipe :
- Take half of salad cucumber and cut into cube size pieces. Transfer into a bowl .
- Take 1 red bell pepper ( capsicum). Remove seeds and cut it into bite size pieces . Add this to the cucumber .
- Take 1 avocado and cut into small pieces . Scoop out and add it to the salad bowl.
- Add 1 cup sweet corn to it .
- Squeeze out half lemon.
- Add little olive oil for flavour .
- Add required salt and pepper for taste .
- Our quick healthy salad bowl is ready !
Avocado smoothie
Ingredients:
Avocado - 1
Honey or sugar - 3 tbsp
Milk - 2 cups
How do I make :
- Cut avocado into small pieces and add it to the smoothie maker jar or a mixie jar .
- For sweetness, add honey or sugar as per your taste .
- Add milk and blend it well .
- Our healthy avocado smoothie is ready !
This can be customised as per your taste buds. You can add banana and make banana avocado smoothie or you can even add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to enhance the taste . As I want it to be healthy , I had made a simpler version .
