 Healthy Avocado recipes 

Avocado are rich in many vitamins, potassium and magnesium . Articles say this is also rich in omega 3 acids fatty acids and it is also a high calorie rich food. So those who are looking for healthy recipes, this one is for you . And this salad bowl can serve as a healthy one time meal for those who are on diet and provide enough calories. Avocado salad :

Ingredients:

Salad cucumber - 1/2

Red bell pepper / capsicum - 1

Avocado - 1

Sweet corn - 1 cup

Lemon - 1/2

Olive oil - 2 tbsp

Salt - as required 

Pepper - as required 


Recipe :

  1. Take half of salad cucumber and cut into cube size pieces. Transfer into a bowl .
  2. Take 1 red bell pepper ( capsicum). Remove seeds and cut it into bite size pieces . Add this to the cucumber .
  3. Take 1 avocado and cut into small pieces . Scoop out and add it to the salad bowl.
  4. Add 1 cup sweet corn to it .
  5. Squeeze out half lemon.
  6. Add little olive oil for flavour .
  7. Add required salt and pepper for taste .
  8. Our quick healthy salad bowl is ready !



Avocado smoothie

Ingredients:

Avocado - 1

Honey or sugar - 3 tbsp

Milk - 2 cups


 

How do I make : 

  1. Cut avocado into small pieces and add it to the smoothie maker jar or a mixie jar .
  2. For sweetness, add honey or sugar as per your  taste .
  3. Add milk and blend it well .
  4. Our healthy avocado smoothie is ready ! 

This can be customised as per your taste buds. You can add banana and make banana avocado smoothie or you can even add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to enhance the taste . As I want it to be healthy , I had made a simpler version .
