Sweet aval is also called aval varatiyadhu in my place . During my childhood days , this was made at my home usually for Vishu (Tamil new year) . We used to crave for it those days during that festive time . It’s all a beautiful memory . Whenever we used to go for long trips , my mom used to make variety rice and pack for trips . And for snack , she used to make this sweet aval and store in an air tight container and it stays good throughout our entire trip . This is such a healthy and easy snack , which can be made for kids . Now as a mom , I am very keen and choosy while giving snack to my kids . So I still make this and store it at home so that kids can have whenever they crave for sweets . As it’s healthy , we can give them guilt free too 😉
So now comes the recipe .Most of them might know how to make this , but for those whose doesn’t know how to make this , here comes the recipe .
