Milk bread 


This no knead milk bread recipe is very easy to make . This recipe doesn’t require much kneading technique like usual bread recipes. This bread is made just by mixing all the ingredients in right quantity and resting the dough until it doubles .The measurement mentioned in this recipe gives a small sized bread loaf . The shelf life of this bread is generally 1 or 2 days , after then it’s better to refrigerate as it contains milk . Those who don’t like milk , could replace milk for water . Make sure to take  water or milk, whichever you are using to be warm enough ( not so hot ) for the yeast to activate . Friends , please do give it a try and let us know how it turns .



Dry Ingredients :

All purpose flour - 2 1/2 cup
Sugar - 3 tbsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Yeast - 3/4 tbsp 

Wet ingredients :

Melted butter - 2 tbsp
Warm milk - 1 1/4 cup

For egg wash :

Egg - 1 or milk - 2 tbsp

Recipe :

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together . Make a well in the center .
  2. Pour in the wet ingredients. Mix all well . The dough will be little sticky at this time . But don’t worry, it’s perfectly fine .
  3. Cover and keep it in warm place for 1.5 (1 1/2 )hour until it double in size.
  4. Take a rectangular baking mould . Spread butter generously.
  5. Place the dough in the rectangular mould .
  6. Cover and keep it for 45 minutes until it double in size .
  7. Bake it in a preheated oven at 190 degrees Celsius for 30-35 minutes .
  8. Check if it’s done by inserting a knife or tooth pick. It should come out clean without any dough sticking to it .
  9. Apply butter when it’s hot .
  10. Cool it down completely and cut into slices .
  11. No knead milk bread is ready to enjoy !
