Chilly parotta is a popular fast food recipe in restaurants in Tamilnadu . It is usually hot and spicy . It is crispy and crunchy with capsicum and onion . It’s very easy to make with few ingredients in hand . This recipe is very similar to the one which we get from restaurants. Friends , please do try this recipe and let us know how it turns .
Ingredients:
Cooked parotta - 4
Oil - 4 tbsp
Green chilly - 3
Curry leaves - few
Grated ginger - 1 tsp
Grated garlic - 1 tsp
Onion - 2
Capsicum - 1
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Tomato sauce - 4 tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves ( for garnishing )
Recipe :
- Cut cooked parottas into square shaped pieces .
- In a pan , add little oil and fry parotta pieces until crisp . Keep it aside .
- In a pan , add little oil .
- Add green chilly , curry leaves , grated ginger and garlic .
- Saute until the raw smell of ginger and garlic leaves .
- Add onion ( cut into square shape ) with little salt and saute until translucent.
- Add capsicum ( cut into square shape) along with chilly powder, garam masala and saute until the raw smell of masala powder leaves .
- Add tomato sauce and parotta pieces and mix well at high flame .
- Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves .
- Crispy , spicy and hot chilly parotta is ready ! It can be served along with onion raita .
