Milk sweet is one of the famous sweet in India. There are many variations to it. Usually it is prepared by reducing milk. But as the original recipe is time consuming, I always wanted to try an instant one, but had a doubt whether it would taste as good as the original one. But trust me, this recipe is more near to the original one and it is just made in 5 minutes.
Ingredients:
Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
Milk powder - 3/4 cup
Ghee - 1/2 tsp ( for greasing )
Pista - 12
Cocoa powder - 3/4 tsp
Yields : 12
Cooking time : 5 minutes
Total time : 10 minutes
Recipe :
1. Mix together condensed milk and milk powder .
2. Cook it on low flame until it thickens.
3. When it starts leaving sides , check the consistency by rolling into small ball .
4. Switch off the flame and let it cool down for sometime .
5. Divide into two portions .
6. Add cocoa powder to one of it .
7. Grease hand with little ghee and knead well .
8. Take a small portion and roll into a small ball .
9. Flatten and make a small hole in the center.
10. Garnish with pista.
Notes:
1. You can also replace cocoa powder with chocolate syrup.
